The ESA EOPUS website is designed to provide access to facilities you can use to upload your proposal for ESA's Earth Explorer-9 mission. The Current Call section of the website equips you with the necessary resources and background information to meet the requirements of the Call.
Please note all files must be uploaded as Acrobat PDF (version 9.1 or lower) file format.
The Call for Proposals consists of a number of separate phases:
In the initial phase, the Call is released and the website will accept new registrations from those wishing to participate. Once registered, you will be allocated your personal page where you can upload your Letter of Intent and later the full Proposal. The personal page also provides the option to update your account details should this be necessary.
Please note that only one Letter of Intent and the Proposal relating to that Letter of Intent can be used per registration. However, there is no restriction on the number of Proposals that an individual or consortium can make. For example, you may have Proposals for two separate missions. In order to submit a Letter of Intent for each Proposal, you would need to register in the system twice under different usernames. Following the upload of a Letter of Intent and later the related Proposal, an email will be sent confirming receipt. Your latest date/time-stamped Letter of Intent or Proposal will be considered as the application. You can view your upload history from MY PROFILE, MY LETTER OF INTENT.
- Once the Letter of Intent phase has ended, registration will be closed.
- Next, the website will indicate when you can upload your Proposal file. Files cannot be viewed on-line. All uploaded files are treated as confidential except for the executive summary which is requested for each proposal.
- Once the Call has closed, the system will no longer accept any files. You will be contacted when ESA has completed the evaluation phase regarding the outcome.
